Color correction is the alchemy of the post-production process. It’s mysterious, elusive and hard to define, but once the secret is unlocked it turns the ordinary into gold.  Using the latest version of DaVinci Resolve, we cover the basics by balancing skin tones, nailing the exposure and matching looks between cameras. After that, the real artistry begins as we meticulously explore the story you want to tell.  Is the sun bathing your protagonist in a subtle warmth or a glaring heat?  Is your twilight moon comfortably romantic or darkly terrifying?  How can varying the saturation from scene to scene help define your character’s journey?  That’s the alchemy of our color grading — it  breathes life into your narrative, one pixel at a time.  Below are some projects color graded by Sean Morris, the founder of 907 Nomad Productions.
